Chapter IV: Health and safety at work.

The administrative authority may determine the categories of work presenting risks to the health and safety of workers, which may only be carried out by homeworkers under the conditions laid down in this chapter.

Employers who have work carried out in the home falling into one of the categories provided for in Article L. 7424-1 are responsible for applying to home workers and the auxiliaries they employ the individual protection measures provided for by the provisions of the decrees mentioned in Article L. 4111-6.

When a homeworker and any of his assistants carrying out the work referred to in Article L. 7424-1 are employed under conditions that do not comply with health and safety at work obligations, the Labour Inspectorate monitoring officer referred to in Article L. 8112-1 may give the client formal notice to cease using the services of this worker.
