Chapter VII: Support systems for the general public and professionals to coordinate complex healthcare pathways

Each coordination support system has a single information system shared between the professionals involved in the system. The tasks of the coordination support system are carried out by a single legal entity for each territory, which has signed a multiannual contract for objectives and resources with the relevant regional health agency, where applicable jointly with the departmental councils in accordance with article L. 1435-3.

Each year, before 30 April, the coordination support mechanism sends the regional health agency and, where applicable, the departmental council, an activity report covering, in particular, the achievement of objectives and commitments assessed according to the monitoring and results indicators set out in the contract, as well as a financial statement and the related accounting documents.

Without prejudice to the tasks devolved to the public policy coordination commissions mentioned in article L. 1432-1, the regional health agency and the departmental councils shall ensure that their policies are consistent in terms of support for complex healthcare pathways.

I.-The specific regional schemes mentioned in article L. 6327-6 are made up of holders of an authorisation to carry out one of the healthcare activities mentioned in article R. 6122-25 and, in the case of the specific regional perinatal schemes, of birthing centres under the conditions set out in article R. 6323-31.
