Article L2123-32 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

When the local elected representatives mentioned in articles L. 2123-31 and L. 2123-33 are the victims of an accident occurring in the course of their duties, the public authorities concerned shall pay directly to the practitioners, pharmacists, medical auxiliaries, suppliers and establishments the amount of the benefits relating to this accident calculated in accordance with the rates applied in respect of health insurance.
