Section 3: Allowances for holders of departmental mandates

The members of the departmental council receive, for the effective exercise of their functions, an allowance fixed by reference to the amount of the salary corresponding to the terminal gross index of the civil service index scale.

When the departmental council is renewed, the deliberation fixing the allowances of its members pursuant to this section shall take place within three months of its installation. Any deliberation by the departmental council concerning the function allowances of one or more of its members shall be accompanied by an annexed table summarising all the allowances allocated to the members of the departmental council.
