Section 2: Roads

The departmental council deliberates on matters relating to the departmental road network under the conditions laid down by the provisions of articles L. 131-1 to L. 131-8 of the road network code.

The departmental council decides on the establishment and maintenance of ferries, water crossings and engineering structures on departmental roads; it sets toll rates within the limits provided for in Article L. 153-4 of the highway code.
