The budget of the syndicat de communes provides for the expenses of creating and maintaining the establishments or services for which the syndicat is formed.

The budget of the syndicat de communes provides for the expenses of creating and maintaining the establishments or services for which the syndicat is formed.
The revenue in the syndicate’s budget comprises: 1° Contributions from associated communes; 2° Income from the union’s movable or immovable property; 3° Sums it receives from public administrations, associations, private individuals, in exchange for a service rendered; 4° Subsidies from the State, the region, the department and the communes; 5° Proceeds from donations and bequests; 6° Proceeds from taxes, fees and contributions corresponding to the services provided or investments made;…
The contribution of the associated communes mentioned in 1° of article L. 5212-19 is compulsory for these communes for the duration of the syndicate and within the limit of the requirements of the service as determined by the decisions of the syndicate.
