Section 3: Liability of the local authority in the event of an accident

Members of the Territorial Council may receive a travel allowance and reimbursement of the subsistence expenses they have incurred to take part in meetings of the Territorial Council, committees and bodies of which they are members. Members of the Territorial Council who are disabled may also receive reimbursement of the specific travel, support and technical assistance expenses they have incurred and which are related to the exercise of their mandate….

When territorial councillors suffer an accident in the course of their duties, the local authority pays the amount of the benefits relating to this accident directly to the practitioners, pharmacists, medical auxiliaries, suppliers and health establishments, calculated in accordance with the rates applied for health insurance.
