Section 1 - Financing of the differential end-of-mandate allowance for local elected representatives

The total amount of the maximum allowances that may be allocated by local authorities and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation to their elected representatives, mentioned in the second paragraph of Article L. 1621-2 of this code, corresponds to the gross annual amount of the maximum allowances that may be received by local elected representatives who are potential beneficiaries of the end-of-mandate allowance, including the various increases provided for in article…

The compulsory contribution rate referred to in Article L. 1621-2 of this code is set at 0.2% of the total maximum compensation likely to be paid to potential beneficiaries of the fund, as defined in article D. 1621-1. The contribution is paid no later than 1st December of the year for which it is due. .

Each year, at the request of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, the local authorities and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation liable for the compulsory contribution to the financing fund for the end-of-mandate allowance shall send a statement showing the basis of assessment and the amount of the contribution payable by them.
