Section 3: Control of legality of public contracts

The threshold mentioned in 4° of article L. 2131-2, in 4° of article L. 3131-2 et au 3° de l’article L. 4141-2 is that which applies to public supply and service contracts awarded by contracting authorities other than central public authorities in accordance with one of the formalised procedures within the meaning of Article L. 2124-1 of the Public Order Code.

Amendments to public contracts are forwarded to the prefect or sub-prefect accompanied, where appropriate, by the deliberations authorising them.

The prefect or sub-prefect may request, in order to exercise the legality control, that additional documents be provided.
