Communes, local public establishments and public interest groupings submit their grant application to the State representative in the department, within twelve months of the police measure ordering the eviction or evacuation of the people occupying the premises. After this deadline, the application is inadmissible.

At the request of the minister responsible for local and regional authorities, the representative of the State in the department assesses the total amount of subsidies likely to be granted, together with the list of applications selected for this assessment. .

The Minister responsible for local authorities sets the total amount of grants that may be awarded to municipalities, local public establishments and public interest groups based on the assessment mentioned in article D. 2335-20.

Subsidies are awarded to beneficiaries by order of the State representative in the department.
