The Institut national du cancer may receive donations and legacies.

The staff of the Institut National du Cancer comprises : 1° Employees governed by Titles II, III and IV of the General Statute for Civil Servants or public employees governed by special statutes; 2° Contract staff under public law made available by the parties in accordance with the conditions laid down in the constituent agreement; 3° Staff governed by the Labour Code.

The National Cancer Institute may issue calls for research projects for a period of five years and, under conditions defined by decree, for a period of eight years.
