The employer is required to give all facilities to committee members to enable them to carry out their duties.
A joint order of the Minister for the Merchant Navy and the Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs sets the conditions under which travel allowances will be paid to committee members and, for members other than active civil servants, holiday allowances.
