Section 3: The right to support for young people towards employment and independence

Any young person between the ages of sixteen and twenty-five who is in difficulty and at risk of exclusion from the labour market is entitled to state-organised support on the road to employment and independence.

The support referred to in article L. 5131-3 may take the form of a contractual support pathway towards employment and independence agreed with the State, drawn up with the young person and adapted to his or her needs as identified during a diagnosis.
