Article L8114-1 of the French Labour Code
Obstructing a Labour Inspectorate inspector in the performance of the duties mentioned in Article L. 8112-1 is punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 37,500 euros.

Obstructing a Labour Inspectorate inspector in the performance of the duties mentioned in Article L. 8112-1 is punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 37,500 euros.
The provisions of articles L. 433-3, L. 433-5 and L. 433-6 of the French Penal Code, which respectively provide for and punish acts of violence, insult and resistance against officers of the judicial police, are applicable to those guilty of acts of the same nature against labour inspection officers mentioned in article L. 8112-1 of this Code.
The provisions of articles L. 8114-1 and L. 8114-2 do not apply to the State, local authorities and their public administrative establishments.
