Section 4: Dispensing of medicinal products

In the establishments and organisations referred to in article L. 3112-3, medicinal products are dispensed by a pharmacist registered in section E or section H of the Ordre national des pharmaciens. If the approved establishment is a health establishment, this dispensing is carried out by the in-house pharmacy, or failing this, in accordance with the procedure laid down in article L. 5126-6.

In establishments and organisations other than health establishments, by way of derogation, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency may authorise a doctor from the organisation, designated by name, to ensure the supply, holding, control and management of medicines and to dispense them directly to patients.
