Section 1: Determination of protection zones.

For the application of article L. 3335-2, the Prefect shall establish protection zones under the conditions laid down in this section. These zones may be different from those he determines pursuant to the last paragraph of article L. 3335-1.

The size of the zones around the establishments mentioned in 3° of article L. 3335-1 to be protected under the provisions of article L. 3335-2 may vary according to the nature of the establishments to be protected and the size of the municipality in which they are located.

In order to take into account the specific situations of certain municipalities, resulting in particular from the number of establishments mentioned in 3° of article L. 3335-1 to be protected by virtue of the provisions of article L. 3335-2, exceptions to the prefectoral orders issued in application of article L. 3335-2 may be granted by order of the Minister responsible for health with regard to the extent of the protection…
