Section 3: Composition and operation of regional and inter-regional councils and disciplinary chambers of first instance.

The portion of the fees set aside for the operation of the regional councils is paid by the departmental councils to the Conseil national de l’ordre, which sets up a common fund, managed by the Conseil national de l’ordre, and distributes the sums collected among the regional councils of the ordre in proportion to the number of cases brought before these councils.

The regional or inter-regional council of the dental surgeons’ association is made up of: 1° Eight pairs for the regional councils in mainland France; 2° Four pairs for the regional and inter-regional councils in Corsica, Reunion-Mayotte and Antilles-Guyane. Each departmental council is represented by at least one pair. However, where appropriate, the National Council may decide that the same pair of members shall represent several departmental councils.

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regional council is the organising council for elections to the disciplinary chamber of first instance for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur-Corsica inter-region.
