The Committee determines its own rules of procedure.

The duties of members of the Biomedical and Public Health Research Committee are free of charge. However, their travel expenses are reimbursed under the conditions set by the regulations applicable to civil servants.

The university hospital centre provides the secretariat for the committee and supplies it with the material and financial resources required for its work. The secretariat for the committee of the Montpellier-Nîmes university hospital centre is provided by the Montpellier university hospital centre. The secretariat for the committee of the Antilles-Guyane university hospital centre is provided by the Fort-de-France university hospital centre.
