Subsection 2: The Director

The public bodies represented on the Board of Directors shall issue a call for applications with a view to drawing up a list of candidates for the post of Director. After receiving the applications, they shall unanimously draw up the list of candidates. The proposal of the Board of Directors referred to in the second paragraph of article L. 1431-5 is adopted by a two-thirds majority of its members.

The Articles of Association set the term of office of the director of the public establishment for cultural or environmental cooperation, which is between three and five years. This term is renewable for periods of three years.

The director manages the public establishment for cultural or environmental cooperation.
