Subsection 2: Retirement.

The ceiling on the contribution rates provided for in article L. 2123-27 is set as follows: – contribution rate for the commune: 8%; – contribution rate for the elected member: 8%.

Elected representatives affiliated to the supplementary pension institution for non-tenured State and local authority employees (I.R.C.A.N.T.E.C.) contribute beyond the age of sixty-five.

Elected representatives affiliated to the supplementary pension institution for non-tenured employees of the State and public authorities (I.R.C.A.N.T.E.C.) benefit, on a compulsory basis, from the supplementary death benefit provided for under the supplementary pension scheme without the need for the local authority to take any specific deliberation to this effect.

Elected members affiliated to the institution for the supplementary retirement of non-tenured employees of the State and public authorities (I.R.C.A.N.T.E.C.) are subject to the regulatory provisions governing this institution insofar as they do not conflict with those of this sub-section.
