The territorial boundaries of the arrondissements of Paris are determined in accordance with Plan B annexed to the law of 16 June 1859 on the extension of the boundaries of Paris as amended by subsequent texts.

The division of the arrondissements into districts is established according to the indications of the plan annexed to the decree of 1 November 1859.
