The maximum number of trainees that the training supervisor may receive may not exceed three if the training supervisor works in a public or private not-for-profit health establishment. Within this limit, it is set by agreement between the training supervisor and the head of department or the medical director of the establishment. In private practice, a training supervisor may not receive more than one trainee at a time.

With the patient’s consent, the trainee attends the activities of the training supervisor and participates, under the responsibility and in the presence of the training supervisor, in the professional acts which the latter usually performs.
