Subsection 3: Home dispensing.

The medicines, products or objects mentioned in article L. 4211-1 may only be dispensed at home in application of article L. 5125-25 when the patient is unable to travel, in particular due to their state of health, age or particular geographical situation.

Home dispensing may be carried out by the pharmacist holding or managing the pharmacy after death, or by the pharmacist managing the mutual benefit pharmacy or a mining relief society, or by their assistants or their replacements. It may also be carried out by the pharmacy assistants or students mentioned in article L. 4241-10. The medicinal products, products or articles mentioned in article L. 4211-1 are transported by the pharmacist dispensing them at home under conditions which guarantee their perfect preservation.
