Inside a helicopter, the sick or injured person must be able to be transported with a medical attendant. The attendant must have easy access to all parts of the body of the person being transported. A minimum space requirement of 0.500 cubic metres is allowed for the installation of medical equipment.

The aircraft’s habitability must allow for the installation of a stretcher and two medical attendants, one of whom must be placed at the head of the sick or injured person being transported. All parts of the body of the person being transported must be easily accessible to one or other of the attendants. The minimum space reserved for medical equipment must be 1 cubic metre.

Payment for a medical transport service provided by an approved company gives rise to the issue of a supporting document, a duplicate of which is kept by the company for one year and which includes : 1° A detailed account of the services actually provided and the corresponding sums claimed, as well as their total amount; 2° The day and time of transport; 3° The name and address of the…
