The examination for admission to the traineeship is administered by a jury presided over by a magistrate from the judiciary. This jury is also composed of a professor of art history in higher education in active service, a heritage curator (specialising in museums), a sworn goods broker and three persons authorised to manage voluntary sales of furniture by public auction.
