Paragraph 1: Administrative police (R).

The Prefect of Paris exercises the following administrative police powers: 1° The issue of the hairdresser’s professional qualification card; 2° Authorisation to hold trade fairs; 3° Approval for the operation or transfer of a general shop ; 4° Supervision of employment agencies; 5° Exemptions from the weekly rest period; 6° Authorisations to trade or distribute objects in the yards or buildings of railway stations.
