Paragraph 7: Financial and accounting organisation

The Agency is subject to the provisions of Titles I and III of Decree 2012-1246 of 7 November 2012 on public budgetary and accounting management. The amount of funding from the compulsory health insurance schemes referred to in Article L. 1413-12 is set by order of the ministers responsible for health, social security and the budget.

Secondary accounting officers may be appointed by the General Manager of the Agency after consultation with the accounting officer and with the approval of the Minister for the Budget.

The agency may, with the authorisation of the ministers responsible for health and the budget, take out loans.

Revenue and imprest accounts may be set up in accordance with the provisions of Decree no. 2019-798 of 26 July 2019 on the revenue and imprest accounts of public bodies.
