Article R6123-26 of the French Public Health Code

The establishment authorised to carry out the activity mentioned in 3° of article R. 6123-1 sets up or participates in a network with other public and private health establishments. This network contributes to the management of emergencies and their after-effects within the health region, in particular to ensure access to skills, techniques and hospitalisation capacities not available to each of the member establishments, and to coordinate their actions and resources.

Article R6123-28 of the French Public Health Code

The network may also include : 1° Medical professionals working in the community, in particular doctors involved in permanent care ; 2° Doctors intervening at the request of the SAMU, including SAMU correspondent doctors whose missions and scope of intervention are defined by order of the Minister for Health; 3° pharmacies; 4° Social and medico-social establishments, in particular accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people.
