Subsection 2: Composition and mandate

The National Labour Inspection Council is made up of : 1° A serving or honorary Conseiller d’Etat appointed by the Vice-President of the Conseil d’Etat ; 2° A member of the Court of Cassation with at least the rank of Councillor, in active service or honorary, appointed by the First President of the Court of Cassation; 3° An Inspector General of Social Affairs, appointed by the Head of the Inspectorate…

The full and alternate members of the National Labour Inspection Council are appointed by order of the Minister for Labour.

The term of office of the full and alternate members of the National Labour Inspection Council is three years. They may be reappointed once in either capacity. If, during a term of office, a full or alternate member of the Council ceases to hold office for any reason whatsoever, the term of office of his or her successor is limited to the remaining period.
