Annual leave of up to twelve working days is continuous.
Annual leave of more than twelve working days may be split by the employer with the employee’s agreement. In the event of splitting, one of the fractions shall be of at least two calendar weeks.
The employer may require a caretaker of a residential building to take more annual leave than the statutory leave to which the person concerned is entitled. In this case, the employer shall pay the person concerned, for the duration of the additional rest period, an allowance which may not be less than the sums which would be due for the same amount of statutory leave.
