Subsection 3: Organisation and operation

The chairman of the Professional Journalists Identity Card Committee is alternately a representative of the employers and a representative of the professional journalists. It is decided by lot who chairs the committee the first time.

The Professional Journalists Identity Card Committee shall draw up its own rules of procedure. The committee may only deliberate when at least five representatives of employers and five representatives of professional journalists are present and take part in the vote. Decisions by the Professional Journalists Identity Card Committee, in particular those involving the issue, renewal or cancellation of the card, are taken by an absolute majority of the representatives present.
