Paragraph 2: Jobseekers

Jobseekers receive remuneration determined on a monthly basis when: 1° They are not supported under the conditions set out in the second paragraph of article L. 6341-1 ; 2° They are following approved training courses in application of the provisions of article L. 6341-4.

The remuneration due to disabled jobseekers, recognised under article L. 5213-2, who have been in paid employment for six months during a twelve-month period or for twelve months during a twenty-four month period is established on the basis of the salary previously received within the limits of the minimum and maximum amounts set in article D. 6341-24-3. Disabled jobseekers who do not fall into the category defined in article D. 6341-26, as well as disabled people recognised under article L. 5213-2 and looking for their first job, receive a monthly payment of 685 euros when they follow a training course approved under the conditions set out in 1° and 2° of article L. 6341-2.

Jobseekers under the age of twenty-six on the date they start their training course who have been in paid employment for six months in any twelve-month period, or for twelve months in any twenty-four-month period, will receive a monthly payment of 685 euros when they follow a training course approved under the conditions set out in 2° and 3° of article L. 6341-2, as remuneration for trainees.

Remuneration received for a vocational training course may be combined with pensions and annuities paid to workers recognised as disabled within the meaning of article L. 5213-1 or with remuneration received for an employed or self-employed activity.

Daily allowances, excluding those paid under the combined application of articles L. 432-9 and L. 433-1 of the Social Security Code, are deducted from the remuneration received for vocational training courses. Beneficiaries of the disabled adults’ allowance, defined in article L. 821-1 of the social security code, and the compensation benefit, defined in Article L. 245-1 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles, may be combined with remuneration received in respect of a vocational training course, subject to the ceilings laid down by these codes.

To enable recipients of social assistance to receive the allowances they may be entitled to, the department responsible for paying this remuneration or, where applicable, the Services and Payment Agency notifies the amount of remuneration paid for a vocational training course to the family allowance funds, the agricultural social welfare funds and the interministerial departmental directorates responsible for social cohesion.
