Section 3: Reimbursement of transport costs

Trainees whose remuneration is paid by the State or the region are entitled to reimbursement of the transport costs incurred in connection with travel undertaken for the purposes of the training courses under the conditions specified in this section. Provided that the distance to be covered from their home is greater than 25 kilometres, trainees whose remuneration is paid by the State or the region are entitled to reimbursement of all transport costs incurred at the start and end of the course to get to and from the training establishment or centre.

In the case of training courses involving a distance from the trainee’s usual place of residence, the trainees concerned are entitled, in order to enable them to return periodically, to reimbursement of their expenses incurred under the following conditions: 1° Trainees under the age of eighteen are entitled, in order to travel to their usual place of residence and provided that the distance to be covered is greater than twenty-five…

The transport costs incurred by trainees taking part in group sessions giving entitlement to remuneration as part of distance learning courses are reimbursed under the same conditions as the costs corresponding to the journeys mentioned in the first paragraph of article R. 6341-49.

Transport costs are reimbursed under the conditions set out in articles R. 6341-35 to R. 6341-43.
