Subsection 2: Conclusion of the contract

The apprenticeship contract is drawn up in writing. Each copy is signed by the employer, the apprentice and, where applicable, the apprentice’s legal representative.

The apprenticeship contract sets the salary payable to the apprentice for each of the years of the contract or the apprenticeship period. This wage may not be less than the rates set out in articles D. 6222-26 to 6222-32. Where benefits in kind are granted, the contract sets the conditions under which they are deducted from the salary, within the limits laid down by decree.
