Any change to an essential element of the contract is the subject of an amendment sent to the skills operator for filing under the conditions set out in this chapter. On receipt of the amendment, the skills operator will decide either whether to cover the cost, if it had initially refused to do so, or whether to continue to cover the cost.

When the apprenticeship contract is terminated before its term, the employer immediately notifies the termination to the skills operator, who informs the services of the minister responsible for vocational training. The notification may be made by electronic means.

When a minor apprentice is employed by an ascendant, the declaration provided for in article L. 6222-5, signed by the ascendant employer, is signed by the apprentice and stamped by the director of the apprentice training centre.
