Subsection 1: Contrat jeune en entreprise.

The application for the aid provided under the “contrat jeune en entreprise” scheme, referred to in article L. 5522-3, is submitted to the managing body after the employee has been recruited and no later than three months thereafter. It is sent by the managing body to the director of labour, employment and vocational training, in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon to the head of the labour, employment and vocational training department and, in Saint-Barthélemy…

The application for aid includes: 1° The employer’s undertaking to comply with the general conditions for granting aid; 2° Documents enabling compliance with the conditions set out in article L. 5522-3 to be verified , in particular a copy of the employee’s diploma.

For full-time employees earning the minimum growth wage, the amount of aid is set at 225 euros per month.

For remuneration in excess of the amount set in article D. 5522-3, the amount of aid is determined by multiplying the amount of 225 euros by the ratio between the remuneration and the minimum growth wage, up to a maximum of 292.50 euros.

When the working time provided for in the employment contract is less than the collective working time applicable in the company, the amount of aid is reduced by applying a coefficient equal to the ratio between the working time provided for in the contract and the collective working time applicable in the company.

For professions affiliated to the leave funds provided for in Article L. 3141-32, the amount of aid is increased by 10%.

State aid is payable for three consecutive years from the date of recruitment. It is reduced by 50% in the third year of the contract.

The aid is paid to the employer quarterly in arrears.

Payment of the aid is interrupted if the employment contract is suspended for a period of at least fifteen days. These interruptions defer payment by the same amount.

The employer must notify the managing body of any termination, suspension or modification of the young people’s work experience contract that gives rise to entitlement to the aid, resulting in a change in the amount of the aid or an interruption in its payment.
