Personal data and information recorded in the information system are kept for a maximum period of twenty years from the date on which registration on the jobseekers’ list ceases, without prejudice to the retention periods set in processing operations with a shorter duration. The rights of access and rectification provided for in articles 39 and 40 of law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, relating to information technology, files and civil liberties may be exercised by jobseekers at the Pôle emploi branch where they are registered and, for other persons, with the Pôle emploi information technology and civil liberties correspondent at Pôle emploi’s general management.

The right to object provided for in article 38 of amended law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms does not apply to the processing referred to in article R. 5312-38.
