The labour inspection officer referred to in article L. 8112-1 may ask the employer to have photometric measurements taken by an accredited body or, in the absence of an accredited body, by a body designated by an order of the ministers responsible for labour and agriculture, to check that workplace lighting complies with the provisions of articles R. 4223-4 to R. 4223-8. The employer must prove that he has referred the matter to the body referred to in article R. 4722-1 within the time limit set and must forward the results of the checks and measurements to the Labour Inspection officer as soon as they are received.
