Article R4722-26 of the French Labour Code
The labour inspector may ask the employer to have all or part of the fixed or temporary electrical installations checked by an accredited body for compliance with the provisions applicable to them.

The labour inspector may ask the employer to have all or part of the fixed or temporary electrical installations checked by an accredited body for compliance with the provisions applicable to them.
The employer must prove that he has referred the matter to the accredited body within fifteen days of the date of the request for verification. It shall forward the report drawn up by the body to the Labour Inspection inspector within ten days of receiving it.
A copy of the accredited body’s report is simultaneously sent by the employer to the prevention department of the relevant social security body.
