Subsection 2: Composition.

The inter-company college for safety, health and working conditions comprises: 1° The health and safety coordinators; 2° The project manager appointed by the project owner; 3° The contractors; 4° Employees working on the site, in an advisory capacity.

The following may attend meetings of the inter-company college in an advisory capacity: 1° Occupational physicians; 2° Representatives of the Labour Inspectorate; 3° Representatives of the Organisme Professionnel de Prévention du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics; 4° Representatives of the prevention department of social security bodies.

For the duration of its involvement on the worksite, each company is represented on the inter-company college by : 1° The head of the company or his authorised representative; 2° An employee actually employed on the site, designated by the social and economic committee or, in its absence, chosen by the members of the team called upon to work on the site.

Each company notifies the names of its two representatives to the chairman of the inter-company college, at the latest before the meeting to adopt its regulations provided for in Article R. 4532-92.

Companies which are not expected to employ at least ten workers on the site for at least four weeks are not required to take part in the work of the inter-company college, provided that they do not have to carry out any of the work on the list of work involving particular risks provided for in article L. 4532-8.

The list of company representatives and other members of the inter-company college, as well as persons who may attend meetings of the college in an advisory capacity, is kept up to date and posted on the site by the coordinator.
