Subsection 3: Journal register.

As the work progresses, the co-ordinator records the following in the co-ordination logbook: 1° Reports of joint inspections, instructions to be passed on and specific observations as provided for in 1° of Article R. 4532-13, which he will have signed by the companies concerned; 2° Any observations or notifications that he deems necessary to make to the project owner, the main contractor or any other party involved on the site,…

A copy of the report on the transmission of the file on subsequent work on the structure referred to in article R. 4532-97 is attached to the logbook.

The coordinator presents the logbook, at their request, to the project manager, the labour inspectorate, agents from the prevention departments of social security organisations, agents from the Organisme Professionnel de Prévention du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics, and, where it has been set up, to the members of the inter-company college for safety, health and working conditions.

The logbook is kept by the coordinator for a period of five years from the date of acceptance of the work.
