Section 2: Training

The employer shall organise safety training for workers on : 1° Health risks and hygiene requirements; 2° Precautions to be taken to avoid exposure; 3° Wearing and using personal protective equipment and clothing; 4° Procedures for sorting, collecting, storing, transporting and disposing of waste; 5° Measures to be taken to prevent or remedy incidents; 6° Procedure to be followed in the event of an accident.

Safety training is given before workers carry out any activity involving contact with biological agents. It is repeated on a regular basis and is adapted to changes in risks and to significant changes in work processes.
