The employer shall inform all workers in the establishment, in an appropriate manner, of the risks affecting them due to: 1° Work equipment located in their immediate working environment, even if they do not use it personally; 2° Modifications affecting this equipment.

The safety training given to workers responsible for the use or maintenance of work equipment is renewed and supplemented as often as necessary to take account of changes in this equipment.

In addition to the training provided for in article R. 4323-3, workers assigned to the maintenance and modification of work equipment receive specific training relating to the requirements to be complied with, the conditions under which the work is carried out and the materials and tools to be used.
