Article R4213-1 of the French Labour Code
The project owner designs and builds the buildings and their fittings in such a way that they comply with the lighting rules set out in articles R. 4223-2 to R. 4223-11.
The project owner designs and builds the buildings and their fittings in such a way that they comply with the lighting rules set out in articles R. 4223-2 to R. 4223-11.
Buildings are designed and laid out in such a way that natural light can be used to light workplaces, except where the technical nature of the activities prevents this.
Premises intended to be used for work must have transparent windows at eye level giving onto the outside, unless this is incompatible with the nature of the planned activities.
In an instruction manual sent to the employer, the project owner will set out the minimum lighting levels during working periods in the premises, clearances and areas, as well as the information needed for the employer to determine the rules for maintaining the equipment.
