Chapter III: Criminal provisions

Failure to send the Labour Inspectorate a duplicate of the poster referred to in article L. 3171-1 is punishable by a fourth-class fine. This fine is applied as many times as there are people employed under conditions likely to be sanctioned under the provisions of this article.

Failure to comply with the provisions of the first two paragraphs of article L. 3171-1 and those of article L. 3171-2 relating to the monitoring of working hours is punishable by a fourth-class fine. This fine is applied as many times as there are people employed under conditions likely to be sanctioned under the provisions of this article.

Failure to submit to the Labour Inspectorate the documents required to record the hours worked by each employee, in breach of the provisions of article L. 3171-3, is punishable by a third-class fine.
