Section 2: Closure decisions

When a prefectoral order for closure to the public, taken in application of article L. 3132-29, concerns establishments directly involved in supplying the population with foodstuffs, it may be repealed or modified by the Minister for Labour after consultation with the professional organisations concerned. This decision may only be taken after six months have elapsed since the prefectoral order was implemented.

Only events lasting no more than three weeks and organised by public establishments, recognised as being of public interest or having obtained the sponsorship of the Minister for Trade for five consecutive years may appear on the list referred to in article L. 3132-30.
