Chapter II: Composition, election and term of office

The regional director of companies, competition, consumption, labour and employment in whose area of jurisdiction the head office of the dominant company is located allocates the seats on the group works council in accordance with the conditions set out in the third paragraph of article L. 2333-4 . In accordance with article L. 2333-6, it may appoint a replacement for an employee representative who ceases his duties on the committee….

Employee representation on the group works council, as provided for in Article L. 2333-1, comprises no more than thirty members. Where fewer than fifteen undertakings in the group have a social and economic committee exercising the powers provided for in the second paragraph of article L. 2312-1, the number of members of the group works council may not be more than twice the number of such undertakings.
