Subsection 2: Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is consulted on the guidelines and objectives of the employment policy conducted by the State in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.It gives its opinion on the statement mentioned in Article R. 5521-1, and in particular on the distribution of these funds between the local authorities. It is informed of the use of these credits and the results obtained.

The Steering Committee is informed at each of its meetings: 1° By the Minister responsible for the fight against exclusion, of the situation in terms of integration, poverty and precariousness in Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon ; 2° By the Minister for Employment, of the employment and vocational training situation in the overseas departments, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Mayotte and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon;3° By the Chairman of their Board…

The term of office of the members of the Executive Committee ends automatically on the expiry of the elective term for which they were appointed.

The Executive Committee meets at least once a year, convened by its Chairman who sets the agenda.
