Article R4313-8 of the French Labour Code

The relevant technical documentation shall specify the technical rules set out in Annex I at the end of this Title which are applied to partly completed machinery. It shall cover the design, manufacture and operation of the partly completed machinery to the extent necessary to assess conformity with these technical rules. The assembly instructions for partly completed machinery shall contain a description of the conditions to be fulfilled for its proper incorporation into the final machinery without compromising health and safety.
