Article A742-17 of the French Commercial code

The oral examinations are held in open session. They are marked from 0 to 20. Each mark is assigned a coefficient of 2.Admission is decided by the selection board on the basis of the average obtained by the candidate in all the written and oral tests, provided that this average is equal to or higher than 10 out of 20.

Article A742-18 of the French Commercial code

The jury will draw up a list of candidates declared admitted. The Conseil national des greffiers des tribunaux de commerce will notify candidates individually of the results of the tests; it will issue each admitted candidate with a certificate of aptitude for the profession of commercial court clerk.
